Property-based testing of real world apps

About this Session

Property-based testing is a technique originating from functional programming that is likely familiar to many Scala developers. Normally it is explained via toy examples and is rarely used in the wild to test behavior of real systems. This talk will feature advices on how to achieve that and explain why this is a good idea. You can expect examples and experiences from real production system as well as showcasing some bugs caught by property-based tests that would be difficult to find otherwise. The talk will also outline cases when example-based tests are a better fit.
